Metod Pevec

Born in 1958, he's a film director, screenwriter, novelist and actor. He received a degree in philosophy and comparative literature from the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. Before and during his time as a student, in the 1970s and 1980s, he played several main roles in Slovenian and ex-Yugoslav feature films and tv serials.

Of these, his collaborations with the Serbian director Živojin Pavlović, such as the Slovenian feature film Farewell (1981) were the most important. Pevec has also written several novels and a collection of short stories. (Source: Croatian Audiovisual Centre)
