Ralph Fiennes
Ralph Fiennes was born in Ipswich in Suffolk on 22.12.1962. He grew up in an artistic family. After school he began studying fine art at Chelsea School of Art; he later took up acting instead and graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Having made a name for himself as a Shakespearean actor he began taking on film roles. He made his international breakthrough as an actor with his interpretation of the concentration camp commandant Göth in Spielberg’s SCHINDLER’S LIST (1993). His film CORIOLANUS, (2010) won many prizes including the Golden Berlin Bear (International Jury category) at the Berlinale 2011. (Source : Berlin Film Festival)
