Eleni Alexandraki
She was born in Athens in 1957. She studied Cinema in France and England (Sorbonne Paris I, National Film and TV School).
She has directed many award-winning films, both fiction and documentaries, feature length and short films. A Drop in the Ocean and The Woman Who Missed Home were widely acclaimed in Greece and abroad.
For the past twenty years she divides her time between Athens and Nissyros, where she collaborates on various creative projects with the island’s inhabitants.
