EFP was created in 1997. It unites 24 national export and promotion organisations from 25 countries, and thus have a unique position to promote and market European productions – and the talent behind them – throughout the world.

European Film Promotion (EFP) is an international network of organisations active in the field of promotion and marketing of European cinema. The EFP network is comprised of professional organisations from 30 countries of Europe, each with extensive experience in marketing and promoting its own national cinema.
