German audiences will be treated to a cinematic portrait of the Italian Christian Democrat and seven-time Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti (brilliantly portrayed by Toni Servillo), which explores the shameless alliances between politics, church and mafia that led him, in gleaming luxury cars, to his Palermo trial. The film is distributed by Delphi.
