– will this year preside over the Un Certain Regard jury at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival (May 13-24).

He will be joined by French actress Julie Gayet, Piers Handling (director of the Toronto Film Festival), India’s Uma Da Cunha (journalist and festival programmer) and Sweden’s Marit Kapla (journalist and director of Göteborg Film Festival). The Un Certain Regard section will open with Iranian director Bahman Ghobadi’s Nobody Knows About the Persian Cats.
