Europa Distribution is announcing a new recruitment drive aimed at signing up European independent distributors to join its growing network of current members and develop a stronger voice across the industry.

Europa Distribution is a network of independent European distributors from all over Europe whose members currently include Artificial Eye and Soda Pictures from the UK, Wild Bunch Distribution and Diaphana from France, Cineart from Belgium, Prokino from Germany and Camera Film from Denmark.

Members are able to share information and experiences to better support both their own businesses and also promote a strong European film industry.

A Cine Sin Fronteras industry meeting will be held this year in Cannes, which is an initiative between Europe and Latin America, led by Europa Distribution in partnership with CICAE, Rencontres Cinémas d’Amérique Latine de Toulouse and Mexico City International Contemporary Film Festival (FICCO) that will encourage the circulation of movies between these continents.

Adeline Monzier of Europa Distribution says: “We are offering a unique and necessary service to independent distributors because we act as the spokesman of their interests for European and national authorities, and we enable them to meet regularly, to discuss issues that only concern independent distribution, and to share ideas but also costs”.
