EFP Representative Eric Franssen said, “The New York Industry Screenings present a good opportunity to screen fresh films from Cannes to the US market. The Belgian film A Town Called Panic received good exposure in Cannes and great interest from American buyers. The screenings come at the right time to confirm the interest and to help the sales agent find the best US distributor.”
High Point Managing Director Carey Fitzgerald said, “Winter in Wartime has generated a lot of buzz, especially since performing so well at home where it held on to the number one spot for over six weeks. The Screenings provide the perfect platform for buyers to view the film in a setting free from the usual distractions of more conventional market screenings and we are delighted to be taking part.”
The Screenings are supported by the European Union’s MEDIA Programme, Wallonie Bruxelles Images, Holland Film, the Irish Film Board and the Instituto do Cinema e do Audiovisual, Portugal.
