Atelier Farnese requests screenwriting fund

by

The Atelier Farnese of July 3-4 ended with the proposal to create a special screenwriting fund on the part of French and Italian institutions. The meeting was held between producers of both countries in Grottaferrata (near Rome) to further develop the first Italian-French screenwriting lab presented at the latest Cannes Film Festival.

The Atelier Farnese is promoted by the French Embassy in Italy, in coordination with Sviluppo Lazio SpA and created thanks to efforts from the Lazio Region, the General Cinema Direction of the Italian Ministry of Culture, the CNC, the Region Ile-de France and SACD. Other partners include the Roma & Lazio Film Commission and Commission du Film d’Ile de France.
