Selected at the 2007 Angers Workshops and winner of Emergence 2008, Jimmy Rivière, that centres on Jimmy, a 19-year-old gypsy, was co-written by Lussi-Modeste and Rebecca Zlotowski.

Produced by Jean-Christophe Reymond for Kazak Productions, Jimmy Rivière (the company’s first feature) has co-production support from Rhône Alpes Cinéma, an advance on receipts from the National Film Centre (CNC) and backing from Sofica Cinémage. The project also received a screenwriting grant from Centre Images.

The seven-week shoot will take place in the Grenoble region. Domestic distribution and international sales will be handled by Pyramide.
