The Berlinale Co-production Market (no doubt delighted at the Venice triumph of Israeli director Samuel Maoz’s Lebanon [+see also:

film profile], to name only one of the 80 titles produced since its launch in 2004) is urging those with potential international co-production projects to submit them immediately for its seventh edition (February 14-16, 2010).
Around 35 projects will be chosen and their producers will get the chance to hold special meetings with potential partners from among the 450 professionals taking part in the event.
The budget for the projects in question, 30% of which must already be secured, should normally be between €2-10m. The deadline for sending applications is October 29. The rules and entry form are available here.
