Woolley, Richards, Wilkerson join Film London Board
BAFTA-winning producer Stephen Woolley, Vue Cinemas CEO Timothy Richards and Target Media Group CEO Rob Wilkerson have been appointed to the Film London Board.
Woolley produced The Crying Game, which won him the BAFTA Alexander Korda Award for Best British Film, shared with director Neil Jordan. He has also produced The End of the Affair, Mona Lisa and Scandal and has just completed shooting Nigel Cole’s We Want Sex, starring Sally Hawkins, Rosamund Pike, Miranda Richardson and Bob Hoskins.
During a career in cinema exhibition spanning 20 years, Richards won the International Cinema Exhibitor of the Year Award and the Ernst & Young UK Overall Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006. Before founding Vue, he worked for Warner Bros. and United Cinemas International (UCI).
Wilkerson’s Target Media Group offers strategy, planning and buying services across all media to clients including Momentum Pictures, Icon Film Distribution, Optimum Releasing, Artificial Eye, Metrodome and Revolver, amongst others.

The trio will join John Akomfrah, Dr Emily Caston, Stuart Comer, Edward Flecther, Nadine Marsh-Edwards, Martin Pilgrim and Lisbeth Savill on the board and will replace founding board members Jeremy Thomas, Clare Binns and Tony Elliott, who have each sat on the board for a maximum of two three-year terms.
