Wave of Swiss films hit France
From mid-November, several Swiss films are hitting screens in France. November 11 saw the release of Séverine Cornamusaz’s harsh film Animal Heart [+see also:

film profile], adapted from Noëlle Revaz’s novel Rapport Aux Bêtes (“Relationship with Animals”) and starring Olivier Rabourdin; and Olivier Zuchuat’s documentary Far From the Villages, about a Darfur refugee camp.
Another film to look out for is Eric Bergkraut’s Letter to Anna [+see also:

film profile] about Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya, which hits theatres on November 18.
Meanwhile, Patricia Plattner’s highly-anticipated Bazar, featuring Bernadette Lafont and Lou Doillon, will be launched on December 2.
