EU Commission funds audiovisual projects to improve Serbia’s integration

The Delegation of the European Commission to Serbia has published the EuropeAid/129191/L/ACT/RS call for funding proposals, which aims to facilitate the country’s integration into the European Union through a series of subsidies for audiovisual production. The aim is to familiarize the Serbian population with the functioning and organisation of European policies and programmes, as well as their effects on everyday life.
This call for proposals is divided into two packages, worth €40,000 and €100,000, respectively. Audiovisual projects broadcast in Serbia in the following formats are eligible for selection: documentary series, debate and news discussion programmes, docu-dramas, educational programmes and investigative journalism (reports and articles).
Communications offices (national, regional and local), news agencies and/or production companies (from EU member states or states dependent on agreements) are eligible to apply for funding. The deadline for registering to submit proposals is December 11.
