Adam & Paul, Hunger lauded by Dublin critics
The Dublin Film Critics Circle has named Lenny Abrahamson’s Adam & Paul, and Steve McQueen’s Hunger as tied best Irish films of the decade receiving equal number of votes. Joel Conroy’s Waveriders was named best Irish film of the year.
Swedish film Let the Right One In was named best film of 2009, French actress Yolande Moreau best actress for Séraphine and Duncan Jones received an Outstanding Achievement award for his work on making Moon.
