lead this year’s nominations for Sweden’s top film honours, the Guldbagge Awards, with four nods each.

Oplev’s blockbuster is running for Best Film, Actress (Noomi Rapace), Supporting Actor (Sven-Bertil Taube) and Cinematography (Eric Kress). Both first-timers, Edfeldt and Siwe are competing for Best Director, along with Teresa Fabik for her second feature, Starring Maja [+see also:

. Fabik also has a chance at winning Best Script, as does Karin Arrhenius (The Girl) and director-scriptwriter Ulf Malmros (The Wedding Photographer).

Besides Rapace, who rose to stardom for portraying Lisbeth Salander in Dragon Tattoo, Malin Crépin (In Your Veins [+see also:
