Still no domestic distributor for Medem’s Room in Rome
French seller Wild Bunch is managing sales for Basque director Julio Medem’s latest work, Room in Rome, which is currently in post-production. The company has sold distribution rights to several territories in Europe, South America and Asia, but Spain is so far not among them.
The film will be released by Optimum in the UK, Frenetic Films in Switzerland, Maywin Media in the CIS and Baltic countries, Spentzos Film in Greece and Independenta Film in Romania.
After the relative flop of his previous film, Chaotic Ana, Medem decided to try at least three new approaches on Room In Rome: he shot the film in English, on commission and under the aegis of Álvaro Longoria of Morena Films. The latter, in collaboration with Medem’s company Alicia Produce, handled production on this sensual film starring Elena Anaya (currently on screens in Hierro [+see also:
