Europa Distribution to launch CIDINET at Berlinale

The network Europa Distribution will unveil its recently created internet platform CIDINET, at the Berlin Film Festival.
CIDINET is an online European Distribution database, available to all the members of the network. Updated on a daily basis, CIDINET’s goal is to provide European distribution companies a wide view of how the films of their line-ups are being released in other territories and allow an efficient share of information, experiences and costs. Concretely, it will cover distribution data in all European territories: release date, promotional material (local poster, local trailer), technical material and box office, number of prints and release strategies.
The database is monitored by Europa Distribution, based on a collaborative participation from its member, and with several partnerships including Cineuropa, Cinando and national organizations collecting box office figures.
