Ozpetek’s Loose Cannons in competition at Tribeca

After screening at the Berlinale, where it sold to 15 countries, the new film by Ferzan Ozpetek, Loose Cannons [+see also:

, will play in the main competition of the Tribeca Film festival, World Narrative Features.

It is the only Italian entry of the 12 international titles in the competition of the ninth edition of the prestigious festival founded by Robert De Niro and producer Jane Rosenthal, which this years opens April 21.

Loose Cannons will be in the running for Best Film, Best Actor and Best Actress. The story of a family of pasta-makers from Apulia, on release tomorrow domestically, was produced by Fandango in collaboration with RAI Cinema and with support from the Apulia Film Commission.
