The film focuses first of all on the relationship between a generous doctor and a young Moroccan boy, whom he brings up in Belgium as if he were his own son. The boy, who has grown into an adult, falls in love and starts a family. But his young wife finds herself trapped in a stifling emotional situation which leads insidiously to the tragic outcome.

MK2 has also announced the first deals for Walter Salles’s project On the Road, which has received much media attention and whose cast now includes Kirsten Dunst. The film has been bought by Tele München Gruppe/Concorde Filmverleih for German-speaking territories and by Cineart for Benelux.
