€50m requested in tax credits in first year
Tax credit requests in Italy have reached €50m, of which €10m from foreign producers, since the incentives were implemented. Seven international films were shot in Italy thanks to the new law.
The figures were announced during a presentation on the tax credit to foreign industry professionals at the Cinecittà Luce Stand of the Cannes Market.
Over recent weeks, the tax credit law for foreign companies outside the film industry also went into effect.
