Five shorts vying for 2010 Cartoon d’Or announced

The five nominees for the 2010 Cartoon d’Or, the award for the best European animated short film, have been announced.
The best-known title on the shortlist is Oscar-winning French production Logorama by François Alaux, Hervé de Crécy and Ludovic Houplain. Is competes alongside Joseph Pierce’s A Family Portrait (UK), Kaspar Jancis’s Krokodill (Estonia), Anita Killi’s Sinna Mann (Norway) and The Tale of Little Puppetboy (Sweden) by Johannes Nyholm.
The winner will be announced during the Magyar Cartoon Forum, to be held in the city of Sopron, Hungary from September 14-17.
