Helander’s Rare Exports offers a totally new take on the Christmas story, spicing up the traditional Nordic tale with a strong dose of black humour, fantasy and thrills to cater for the teen and adult audience. The film is a feature length version of Helander’s cult short Rare Exports Inc (2003) and Rare Exports Inc – Safety Instructions (2005). The feature length film was produced by Petri Jokiranta (Cinet) in co-production with Norway's Pomor Film, Finland's Davaj Film, France's Love Streams Agnès B. Productions. France’s Kinology who is handling world sales, sold UK and Australian rights to Icon Film Distribution. FS Film will release the film in Finland this Christmas and Scandox will handle distribution in the other Nordic countries.
