Locarno in France and Italy

After the recently closed 63rd Locarno Film Festival, helmed by Olivier Père, some of the films presented at the festival are heading to France and Italy.

From September 1-6, the “I Grandi Festival - Locarno a Roma” event in Rome is celebrating its 10th anniversary by showing ten Italian films that have left their mark in the famous festival’s history, as well as presenting works recently unveiled at Locarno. Meanwhile, on September 15, this year’s prize-winning films will be presented in Milan.

From September 8-14, the MK2 Quai de Loire cinema in Paris will screen about 12 features from the 2010 Locarno selection, including Benoît Jacquot’s Deep in the Woods [+see also:

, Christophe Honoré’s Man At Bath [+see also:

and Isild Le Besco’s Bas Fonds (“Lowest Depths”).
