(“The Small Room”), will represent Switzerland in the nomination race for the Best Foreign Language Film Oscar.

The film was selected by the jury at the Federal Office for Culture and audiences at the Delémont-Hollywood event. This moving story centres on an old, ill man (played by an outstanding Michel Bouquet), who is fiercely against the idea of being put in a retirement home, and a young nurse (Florence Loiret Caille) who is not afraid to stand up to him.
