No Sex Is No Option in Hamburg
Shooting started yesterday in Hamburg on No Sex Is No Option, the debut big-screen feature by TV series director Torsten Wacker, based on Mia Morgowski’s novel of the same name.
The film, co-scripted by Michael Gantenberg and Hartmut Block, centres on Tom Moreno (Stephan Luca), an advertising executive and irresistible ladies’ man who is as good at seducing women as he is at shaking them off. Unfortunately for him, none of his techniques work on Elisa (Marleen Lohse), the new manager of his agency, which comes close to bankruptcy, plunging our Don Juan into an existential and creative crisis.
The cast is completed by top-name actors Armin Rohde, Corinna Harfouch, Hannelore Elsner and Anna Thalbach.
Shooting will last until November 25 in Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Hessen. No Sex Is No Option is produced by all-in-production, in co-production with ZDF and distributor Kinowelt, who will launch it on German screens at the end of next year.
