NonStop offers Hold Me Tight to AFM buyers

is one of four new titles that will have their market premiere at the upcoming American Film Market in Los Angeles (November 3-10) under NonStop Sales flagship.

Munk’s youth drama produced by Nimbus Film won a Special Mention at Locarno last August and will soon screen at the Rome International Film Festival as part of Alice in the City’s sidebar, and in Mannheim’s competition programme later in November. The film has sold over 45,000 tickets in Denmark so far.

Another Danish film about bullying at school and peer pressure will be sold by NonStop Sales at the AFM: Oliver Ussing’s My Good Enemy, produced by Bullitt Film. The film just won the CIFEJ Award and the FICC Special Mention at the Frankfurt International Children’s Film Festival. The other pick-ups are Sweden’s Dear Alice [+see also:

by Othman Karim, starring US actor Danny Glover and Tuva Novotny, and the horror film Wings of Fear by Estonian filmmaker Ilmar Taska.

NonStop Sales executive Judith Toth said these new pick ups are part of the company’s new strategy to widen its film supply across all genres. Since August, NonStop Sales – a subsidiary of Millennium Media Group – is part of Time Warner’s Turner Broadcasting Europe.
