28/10/2002 - New Swiss company to present stage adaptation of von Trier's Medea on 1 & 2 November at the Zentropa Studios in Copenhagen

Zentropa is going to have a special visit during the next few days. One of the studios belonging to the company is going to be used for an unusual theatre production, the creation of a new Swiss company called 400asa. On 1 and 2 November, the theatre company will put on their version of the classic Greek tragedy, “Medea”, based on a the version Lars von Trier produced for the Danish television in 1988. The Swiss production is entitled Medeää and is based on traditional theatre techniques and multimedia, and uses the Dogma Manifesto as a reference. The production is represented by the Copenhagen International Theatre and Zentropa.
