MEDIA Salles on eastern Europe

The status quo of the east European film market and its prospects for the future are the subject of a careful analysis published in the latest editon of the European Cinema Journal, MEDIA Salles’ quarterly newsletter that is distributed to film industry operators. The latest edition was presented at MIFED in Milan on 5 November 2002, and it is also available online.
Poland’s Pawel Wachnik, the Warsaw-based CEO of Star Century Cinemas speaks about the fundamental importance played by domestic productions in increasing film attendance.
