All or Nothing

by

The story unfolds during a single long lazy summer weekend in present-day London. Penny is a supermarket cashier in a dead-end affair with Phil, a taxi driver. It takes a major tragedy to shake them out of their complacency and indifference and give them hope that maybe they still have a chance of happiness together... A favourite of European audiences, Mike Leigh is a regular at Cannes. His Naked and Secrets and Lies won important awards at past editions of France´s premiere event and brought him to the forefront of international attention because of the social impact of his stories and the consummate artistic skill with which he tells them.
