- In Rome on December 6th, meetings to increase the collaboration between Euro-pean and Italian productions

In the occasion of the European Film Awards, the European Producers Club is organising a Co-production Forum in partnership with API, (Association of Italian Authors and Producers), AGIS (General Association of Entertainment in Italy) and Italia Cinema to take place on December 6, 2002.
The main objective is to foster co-productions with Italy and to inform producers from all over Europe on the peculiarities of the Italian production sector. The programme will consist of two sections:
The first part will be a presentation of the Italian production system including the law –that is now being revised-, co-production conditions and financing possibilities in Italy.
The second part will consist of individual meetings between Italian producers and European producers on the basis of concrete projects in development suitable for co-productions.
For eligibility, the selected producers for the one-to-one meetings must have co-produced at least two films in the last five years and must have a current project in development suitable for a co-production with Italy. The deadline to apply is November, 20.
