The protagonist of this sci-fi thriller set in Paris, Japan and Mexico is a young female employee of a multinational who turns to industrial espionage, engaged by a competitor. Olivier Assayas began his career as a critic with the magazine Cahiers du Cinéma: in this film he follows a clear linear storytelling path where the dialogues prevails over pure action or drama.
