17/12/2002 - Berlinale 2003 to honour European film icon and star of A Man & A Woman with retrospective & Lifetimet award

French actress and 60s and 70s film icon, Anouk Aimée, will receive a lifetime achievement Golden Bear at the forthcoming Berlin Film Festival - 6-16 February 2003. Earlier this year, the French film industry acknowledged Aimée’s luminous career with a special César, the French equivalent of the Oscar.
Aimee has made some 70 films, the most memorable being Claude Lelouch’s A Man and A Woman and Federico Fellini’s La dolce vita and 8 ½. Ten of her most significant films will be screened at the Berlinale.
