Romance under the mistletoe

German cinema’s will resonate with German-language domestic productions this Christmas. Dutch actor Jeroen Krabbé’s directorial feature debut, Die Entdeckuyng des Himmels (Paradise Found), based on a Dutch classic and co-produced by the UK and the Netherlands, will lead the way. Another highlight will certainly be Ten Minutes Older – The Trumpet, an ensemble of short films by well-known directors like Werner Herzog, Volker Schloendorff and Wim Wenders.
German audiences will also see Charlotte Gray, an Anglo-German co-production directed by Gilllian Armstrong and starring Cate Blanchett and Billy Crudup and a Cet amour-là, a romantic comedy based on the novel by Margherite Duras, directed by Josée Dayan and starring the living legend that is Jeanne Moreau.
