John's got his "Head in the Clouds"

John Duigan (Sirens) will start shooting his pre-WWII epic romance, Head In The Clouds next month in Montreal, Paris and Cambridge (UK). The film starring Penelope Cruz, Natalie Portman, Thomas Kretschmann and Jay Rodan, is a UK/Canadian co-production by Dakota Films and Remstar. It is the story of a loving relationship between a young Cambridge student (Rodan) and a budding fashion photographer (Portman). When he decides to go and fight fascism in Spain, she puts her life on the line for him. Executive-produced by Julia Palau (formerly with J&M Entertainment), the film is handled internationally by Archlight Films.
