Bodil nominations announced

Susanne Bier swept the boards with 6 nominations in five categories at this year’s edition of the prestigious Bodil Prize for her feature, Elsker dig for evigt(Open Hearts).
Six of the nineteen Danish film that premiered during 2002 received nominations and they include Annette K. Olsen’s feature directorial debut, Smä ulykker (Minor Mishaps), with five; Jesper W.Nielsen’s Okay with four, and Nils Malmros’s At kende sandheden (Facing the Truth) and Lone Scherfig’s English-language Wilbur Wants to Kill Himself with two nominations each.
The Bodil was set up in 1948 and is presented on an annual basis by Danish film critics and journalists. This year’s edition is scheduled to take place on 2 March at the Imperial Cinema in Copenhagen
