Written and starring Checco Zalone, and co-written and directed by Gennaro Nunziante, the film has earned nearly €23.5m and still has a long life ahead of it. It will no doubt top the box office topper of the early season, Benvenuti al sud (€29.7m), and double the box office of the TV comic’s extraordinary film debut, Cado dalle Nubi [+see also:

, which in late 2009 grossed over €14m.
