Tucker Film returns to theatres in April with Poetry
Following the success of Departures, the Oscar-winning Japanese film by Yojiro Takita released in Italy in 2010 to good box office results, the Friuli-based company Tucker Film returns to theatres on April 1 with Poetry by South Korea’s Lee Chang-dong, winner of Best Screenplay at Cannes 2010.
Tucker Film was founded in 2008 by Centro Espressioni Cinematografiche of Udine (organizers of the Far East Festival) and Cinemazero of Pordenone. For its second national distribution of a feature film, the company opted for the award-winning director of Green Fish, Oasis (Special Director’s Award and Best Actress at Venice 2002) and Secret Sunshine, which won Best Debut Actress at Cannes 2007.
