Roberto Cicutto, the head of Mikado announced that his company had bought the theatrical distribution rights to In this World by British film director, Michael Winterbottom. Cicutto is currently at the Berlin film festival with his associate, Luigi Musini.
In This World is the story of a young Afghan refugee’s long (and mostly illegal) journey from Peshawar in Pakistan to London, and heralds Winterbottom’s return to the subject of war: the conflict in the former Yugoslavia was the backdrop to his Welcome to Sarajevo.
