Pathe International take 12

Alison Thompson, the head of Pathe International’s sales arm for non-French titles, is bringing up to 12 live action and animated features and documentaries, all at different stages of production, to the American Film Market (AMF scheduled to run from 19 to 26 February in Santa Monica).
Four new titles will have their first market screenings: Simon Pummell’s feature documentary, Bodysong, Penny Woolcock’s debut feature, The Principles of Lust (both in competition at the 2002 Rotterdam Film Festival), Israel’s 2003 submission for an Academy Award, Broken Wings by Nir Bergman, and the Pathe Pictures /Alliance Atlantis co-production, Max, starring John Cusack and Noah Taylor (Almost Famous).
Five high-profile films that are still in post-production will probably aim for a Cannes slot: Peter Webber’s romantic drama Girl With a Pearl Earring [+see also:

; Jane Campion’s In The Cut with Meg Ryan; Ric Cantor’s Suzie Gold with Summer Phoenix; Wondrous Oblivion by Oscar-nominated director Paul Morrison, and Walter Salles’ drama, The Motorcycle Diaries.
Pathe’s titles still in production include children’s animation, The Magic Roundabout and Touching the Void, a feature documentary by Oscar winner Kevin MacDonald (One Day In September).
