During the recent Berlin Film Festival, the European Children’s Film Association - ECFA - appointed a Norwegian, Mia Lindrup, as their new president.
ECFA is responsible for promoting quality films for children and youngsters and once a year it organises a major conference reuniting all EU member states. The next one is due to take place in Oslo from 4-9 October 2003, and the subject is: “Audiovisual Stories In A Digital Age”.
Since November 2002 Mia Lindrup has headed the Film & Audience Department at the Norwegian Film Institute (NFI) and since 1996 she has supervised the Amandus Festival for children and youngsters.
