Always begins tomorrow

Dutch comedy-drama Always (Alle tijd, literally “Enough Time”) will be released tomorrow on an impressive 97 screens by distributor Independent Films. The film is the debut as a writer-director of Job Gosschalk, one of the Netherlands’ most renowned casting directors.

Partially inspired by Gosschalk’s own life, Always recounts the story of a 40-something gay man (Paul de Leeuw) who brought up his sprightly younger sister (Karina Smulders) after the death of their parents, and who is confronted with a void when she moves out. A diagnosis of cancer changes both their lives.
