Sharing ideas at the CFTF

The 24th Celtic Film and TV Festival (CFTF), set to take place in Belfast from 2-5 April, has received support from the EU’s MEDIA Programme to develop exchanges and business meetings parallel to its competition screenings and conferences.
The CFTF Exchange initiative invited independent producers and multimedia editors to submit projects in development stage. Those selected from each of the four categories (drama, animation, documentary and new media) will be eligible for a 50 per cent discount on the registration fee.
The 100 producers at the Festival will also be offered networking opportunities with European TV and film decision makers.
The CFTF is a four-day celebration of film, TV, radio and new media productions from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall and Brittany. The competition includes Eldra produced by Wales’ Teliesyn/S4C; two Irish productions, Sunday, Sinners and Hit And Run, Scotland’s The Magdalene Sisters [+see also:

, and Hwerow Hweg from Cornwall.
