Apulia FC supports film shoots in region

The board of directors of the Apulia Film Commission has launched a new funding call for supporting film productions shot in Apulia. The funding call, which is added to that of the film fund, sets out two deadlines for submitting applications in 2011: July 20 and September 20, 2011.

With this funding call, the AFC intends to select applications for film shoots in Apulia in order to guarantee the completion of the planning stage, which should end on December 20, 2011.

There will be funding for film shoots hosted in the region, which can also be added to the funding put in place by the Apulia Film Fund, for a maximum amount of €100,000 for features, TV dramas and series; €20,000 for documentaries; and €15,000 for short films and music videos.

Those eligible to apply for funding include Italian, European and extra-European productions: in view of the amount granted, the makers of these projects will commit to spending an amount equal to at least 150% of the funding in the Apulia region.
