Cineuropa 2.0 is online
- The new Cineuropa is here with a revamped design, advanced functionalities and improved content to better meet your demands. Discover what has changed in Cineuropa 2.0...
Loyal readers, today is an important day for every one of us. Over the past few months, the Cineuropa team has been busy redefining its graphic and editorial approach. Today, we’re pleased to give you a first glimpse of the fruits of this work which — it’s important to point out — is still ongoing.
As you’ve discovered, Cineuropa is being revamped to present you its news with a clarity better adapted to developments in web technology. In addition to the obvious graphic overhaul, the new version of Cineuropa will include new technical functionalities which will be introduced in the forthcoming weeks. These new additions aim to increase our site’s user-friendliness and efficiency. We will have the opportunity to show them to you in detail in good time.
On the editorial side, new sections will appear and the content to which you are accustomed will change, although very gradually. Cineuropa remains the media tool that has won the confidence of European and international professionals during the six years since it was founded. This overhaul is in no way a complete revolution. It is simply the evolution of a valued and respected tool and we want this adaptation to be consistent both in form and content.
At the present time, there are still some links which will direct you to the old site. Don’t be surprised at this. During a transitional period which we will call the beta phase, these links will be quickly updated as soon as the design for the corresponding section is available. We’re working flat out to present you with the complete version of Cineuropa 2.0 before the end of the holidays.
In the meantime, we invite you to rediscover the site and share your comments with us via our Facebook page, our Twitter account or simply by email at the address cineuropa@cineuropa.org.
We hope you’ll continue to introduce your contacts to our articles through our Newsletter which reaches out to over 65,000 readers every week or by sharing them on your social networks like the brand new Google+ on which Cineuropa is already circulated.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your daily loyalty as readers. Our team of journalists and I remain tuned in to the film sector and your expectations which extend to the whole of the audiovisual field. Our primary concern is to provide you with quality, multilingual news which can also be part of the continuous evolution of the new media to which Cineuropa will be proud to belong for as long as you consider it as such.
