It’s Payback Season in London
Debutant Danny Donnelly has commenced principal photography at London locations on urban thriller Payback Season.

The film follows Jerome Davies (Deacon), a young man who has beaten all odds to escape the council estate he grew up on and make something of his life as a professional footballer. However, close encounters with old friends on the estate where his mother and younger brother still live cause Jerome’s life to spiral out of control.
The film is being produced by Pure Film Productions, the film offshoot of Pure Music, in association with Angry Badger Pictures.
Pure Film has recently completed post-production on Alex Pillai’s action/drama Victim, about a young man’s attempt to break out of a circle of violence. Ashley Chin (Anuvahood), Ashley Madekwe (How To Lose Friends & Alienate People [+see also:

In addition, Pure Film’s action/horror Lethal, written by Donnelly and directed by Darcia Martin, is due a UK release in October.
