, the bittersweet comedy by Wolfgang Becker that won the Best European Film Award at the 2003 Berlinale, has also conquered the German box office. After a strong start in 3rd position, the film climbed to the N°1 slot last week, knocking Two Weeks Notice starring Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock into second place. Martin Scorsese’s Gangs of New York is 3rd, and Steven Spielberg’s Catch Me If You Can 4th, followed by Gore Verbinski's The Ring in 5th. Two other German titles are also in this week’s top ten, Anatomie 2 and The Flying Classroom, respectively 7th and 8th.
