The Salzburg Script Prize was set up to help and encourage young writers. The deadline for submissions of treatments and/or scripts to the 2003 Salzburg Script Award Competition is 28 March for the former and 19 September for the latter. Only writers with either a personal or professional link to Salzburg can take part. There are two categories: short films – with a cash prize of Euros3,600 and features, with a cash prize of Euros7,200. Submissions should be sent to the cultural office of Salzburg Town Hall.
