Penned by the director and Sophie Fillières, the screenplay (which was read out at the latest Premiers Plans Festival in Angers) centres on 35-year-old François, (Elmosnino - pictured) who has been discharged from psychiatric hospital. After a breakdown, he is still fragile. So he goes back to hospital. Then when he gets out again, he has only one thing on his mind: winning back Anna (Quinton), the love of his life.

Produced by Tonie Marshall for Tabo Tabo Films, Ouf has received €175,000 in backing from the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region through the CRRAV. The 28-day shoot will take place in Lille and the surrounding area (Halluin, Marcq-en-Baroeul, Armentières and Villeneuve d'Ascq).

French distribution and international sales will be handled by MK2.
