This non-reimbursable funding covers up to a maximum of 80% of a project’s development costs. Those eligible include Turkish producers and producers from the German regions participating in the agreement, which aim to make a feature or creative documentary as a co-production planned for release in both countries. In exceptional cases, multimedia and television projects are eligible. The funding application deadline closes on March 2, 2012.

The rules of the funding call can be consulted here and the application form can be downloaded here.

The previous funding call helped get seven bi-national projects off the ground with funding worth a total of €100,000. The results of this second funding call will be announced on April 12, 2012, at the Istanbul Film Festival.
